Web Developer - PHP Developer

php developer sidmouth We are looking for a PHP web developer in our Sidmouth office. Could that be you?

The role involves working with a small team of developers that will be developing primarily PHP based websites for a wide variety of customers. In addition, there are opportunities to build and manage web apps to enable our customers to manage processes with their businesses.

There is a good deal of customer interaction and the successful candidate would be expected to see the job through from start to finish.

Therefore it is essential to have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

The candidate should possess a good level of ability in the following technical skills:

Good basic HTML underpinning
PHP
SQL\MySQL
Javascript
CSS 3\4
HTML5
Responsive design
WC3 compliance standards
SEO

Other skills that would be beneficial to the role are:

XHTML
Linux
Graphical design
Photoshop

We are a relatively small team and the successful candidate would need to be a team player with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

This is a permanent position working on a 40hr week
