When I first began working for the trust I was concerned at the state of our website, which frankly had not been kept updated and was fairly user unfriendly. I wanted to find a local company to build a new website that reflected the various strands of the charity’s work and gained several quotations, finding East Devon IT to be the best, if not the cheapest, because of what it offered.
We are all delighted with the result, which took some time to perfect, and now have a website that can be easily updated from the office computer as well as offering a virtual guided tour of the large Regency building, so that perspective clients can view each room before deciding what to book.
EDIT has also been helpful in giving guidance on uploading images to the website, and, with the addition of a new What’s On tab, we have more space to give details of forthcoming events and illustrate them too, which encourages people to come and use the facilities.
Personally, I would have no hesitation in recommending EDIT. They spent considerable time here photographing rooms for the website to ensure the images reflected the nature of the building. The colour scheme used matches the colours chosen by the trust for its signage and the whole website gives a feeling of elegance, which is what trustees wanted to portray.
